According to legend, on May 19th each year (the anniversary of her execution) within the Hall's grounds, Anne Boleyn's ghostly figure can be seen in a phantom coach drawn by four headless horses. The coach is carried towards Blickling Hall where it vanishes into thin air leaving the ghost of Ann Boleyn to enter the building alone. Dressed all in white and carrying her severed head Anne's ghostly apparition glides into the hall and roams the corridors until daybreak.
