The cut and cleaned grain is stored in a tank on the combine. This holds about five tonnes of grain. When the grain tank if full, the grain is unloaded into a grain trailer, which is often driven alongside the combine while the combine continues to cut grain. High standards of driving are required by the tractor driver to accurately fill the trailer and prevent loss over the side. North Bedfordshire August 2005.
