Shrub-like plant with woody, downy stems and velvety, three lobed leaves. It has large pink flowers with purple veins. Common to SW England, introduced elsewhere. It grows on scrub, wasteland and shores. Pictured near Cardington Bedfordshire, mid August 2005.
