Hedge bindweed is now flowering widely, one of the most beautiful common plants, it has large snowy-white flowers with no markings. The flowers stay open into the night, all night if there is moon light. It climbs up shrubs such as hawthorn by its stem which twists anticlockwise around the plant. It flowers July - September.
