This plant has broad ribbed leaves and flowers from May to September. It is very common and grows in well trodden places such as garden paths. It survives crushing and tearing as new growth takes place at the protected base of the plant, hence it grows where less robust plants do not survive. Pictured Bedford early September 2005.
