A large tree which is a cross between small leaved lime and large leaved lime. In July it produces sweetly scented greenish flowers. The flowers are in hanging clusters of four or more with a long oblong bract joined to the stalk, which remains as the fruits develop (as shown) Its leaves are up to 2-3 inches long.
