In many countires over the world, families and friends give presents to each other, often these are left under the Christmas tree. Presents are opened on different days in different countries. In some counties they are opened on St. Nicholas' Day - December 6th; others on Christmas Day - December 25th. The latest presents are opened is on the eve or morning of January 6th -known as Epiphany. Epiphany celebrates the coming of the Magi or wise men bearing gifts for Jesus and is known as ‘little Christmas or ‘twelfth night’.
