Roman Wall - Colchester

As it describes in the story, Colchester was a difficult town for the Palimentarians to attack as it was surrounded by a a 3100 metre long defensive Roman Wall. The wall was built after the destruction of the town in AD60/61 by Boudica’s army. Much of the wall still exists.
