A hairless annual plant with long stalked root leaves and its stem leaves joined in a pair forming a ring around the stem. It has tiny white petals. Originally introduced from North America it has naturalised on sandy or light soils. It usually flowers May - July. Picture taken April 7th 2006, Ampthill, Bedfordshire.
