Pendulous sedge is a dramatic native evergreen, perennial plant. It produces long green flower spikes in summer that age to brown in seed. The spikes can grow to 2m. It has narrow, green leaves, solid triangular stems It grows in damp, wet areas. Picture taken at near Old Warden, Bedfordshire - May 14th 2006.
