False Oxslip (Primula veris x vulgaris)

The plant is 10-30 cm tall with pale yellow flowers that are larger than those of the cowslip. Common in the east of England this plant is a cross between the primrose and the cowslip. It flowers April to May. Picture taken 3rd May 2006 at Maulden, Bedfordshire.
