This is a very sucessful plant that flowers all year round. It can also self-pollinate so distinctive variations occur in different localities. It has small white flowers each with four petals that are twice as long as the surrounding sepals. It can be branched or unbranched and dull green leaves of variable shape from lobed to almost unlobed clasp the stem towards the top of the plant and form a rosette at the base. Picture taken at Maulden, Bedfordshire 9th May 2006.
