The commonest species of Mouse-ear. It is very hairy (but without the glandular tips of Sticky Mouse-ear). The bracts have silvery margins and the white flowers have notched petals and are held in loose cymes. It has 10 stamens and the capsules are about 12mm long and curved. It is very common on dry grasslands banks or waysides. Picture taken June 17th 2006 at Felmersham, Bedfordshire.
