The creeping thistle is common in fields, roadsides and wasteland. It has light mauve flowers. It usually flowers from July-September. It also spreads by means of a creeping route system and therefore can be very difficult to remove. Picture taken 28th June 2006 at near Cardington, Bedfordshire.
