A large tree which is a cross between small leaved lime and large leaved lime. In late June early July it produces sweetly scented greenish flowers. The flowers are in hanging clusters of four or more with a long oblong bract joined to the stalk, which remains as the fruits develop. Its leaves are up to 2-3 inches long.
