A herb 10-60cm tall with a woody stem lower down and leafy above. It has oblong lance-shaped untoothed leaves and bright orange/yellow flowers. The pods can be up to 7cm long, they are flattened and hairy. It can be found near or on old walls. Picture taken 17th June at Elstow, Bedfordshire.
