A robust herb with sprawling or erect stems. Its stem is smooth, solid and four-angled. The one veined leaves are in whorls of six to eight. It has larger flowers than some other bedstraws. The flowers are white and in loose clusters. It flowers june to September. Picture taken 24th June 2006 at Stevington, Bedfordshire.
