Musk Mallow (Malva moschanta)

An upright sparsely hairy herb. It has leaves that are deeply divided into narrow segments. The flowers up to 6cm wide are rose pink to white and in clusters. It is found on roadsides, in hedgerows and grasslands and flowers usually July to August. Picture taken July 1st 2006 at Old Warden, Bedfordshire
