Excavations at West Stow showed evidence of around 76 buildings. Archeologists used this evidence to reconstruct some of the buildings. The weaving house was built in 1984. It is a two post house and has been fitted out with weaving looms as a weaving shed, to show the evidence from the burned houses excavated at the site.
