Saint Edmund is still remembered today. St Edmundsbury Cathedral, which was originally the parish church of St James and only became a cathedral in 1914. Building work started in 1503 and has only just been finished with the addition of a central tower. The opening celebration for the new tower too...

Building work started in 1503 and has only just been finished with the addition of a central tower. The opening celebration for the new tower took place in July 2005.
