Of the Pea family this plant is found on wastelands, grasslands and scrub. It is a fairly tall plant(60 to 90 cm). It has yellow flowers that grow on long spikes. It prefers disturbed ground and heavy soils. Picture taken on 6th July at Old Warden, Bedfordshire.
