A downy climbing purplish-blue herb of the Pea family, found on scrubland in hedgerows and at the edge of woodland. The plant climbs by means of branched tendrils. Picture taken on 1st July 2006 at Stevington, Bedfordshire. For more pictures see the June plant diary.
