The Mall runs from Buckingham Palace at its west end to Admiralty Arch and Trafalgar Square at its east end. On the south side of the Mall is St James Park. The Mall was created as a ceremonial route in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, intended for use in national ceremonies. Picture taken 16th December 2006.
