On 15 January 1757 the wife of John Laram of St Anne's, Westminster and the Manor of Little Holkham, Norfolk was granted denizenship by George II. Laram had requested the grant to his wife Veneranda Maria Elizabetta, an alien, and so she became English by Royal Letters Patent. The King's Royal Seal was attached to the Grant.
