This is Daphne’s third litter (the first two did not survive). Daphne is a Berkshire pig (a small breed) the piglets (baby pigs) are Berkshire and Large White crosses as their father - Bertie is a 'Large White' boar. The piglets are mostly pink as the male genes (which determine colour) are stronger, although occasionally some of the pigs have black spots. Picture taken at Farrowby Farm, Hertfordshire on January 15th 2007.
