This is an order dated 6 December 1833 from the Quarter Sessions in Ipswich, Suffolk. From 1 January 1834 "every poor person born in Scotland or Ireland or in the Isle of Man or Scilly, not having gained Settlement in England" was ordered to be removed first to London by land or sea then by sea to their place of birth.
