This is the cover of the Witcham School Register. During World War 2 the register lists evacuee children who came to Cambridgeshire from London in the early months of the war. After the war many Polish children were enrolled there. They were living with their families in Resettlement Camps nearby. Many of them had already moved great distances in the years since their birth.
