To weigh is simply to measure or determine how heavy an ingredient is by using a scale or balance. You can use any bowl or container you like as long as the scale reads zero before you start adding your ingredients to weigh. Keep adding until you reach the weight you want. These are very easy to read and accurate every time. They often have a choice of Imperial or Metric scales.
