This is page 4 of the family history in which John Wittewronge tells of his grandfather's death in 1593 and of his father Jacob (born in Ghent in 1558) and his 3 brothers and 5 sisters, the eldest of whom died before they left Flanders. Jacob who was to be a scholar, was sent to school in St Alban's and then to Magdalen College, Oxford.
