The oven which is separately fired. Bread and cakes were moved in and out of the oven on a wooden bread peel. There is very little decorative ornament in the kitchen but the oven is decorated with fashionable 'paterae'. With thanks to 'The Georgian House Museum', 7 Great George Street, Bristol, BS1 5RR.
