A device that allows you to produce fine shreds of food. A typical grater is usually a stainless steel device with a rough surface and different sized holes on each side, suitable for grating different foods. For example, most graters have a very fine side for grating foods such as nutmeg and a side with bigger holes for grating foods such as cheese.
