At present there are just three calves on the Foxholes farm (where this picture was taken), but more are due to be born shortly. At any time, there are seventy mums and up to seventy little ones. The mix of calves between males (bulls) and females (heifres) tends to work out almost exactly half and half, with approximately the same number of bulls and heifers. Picture taken 23rd February 2007.
