This is an informal style of school photograph, which can be compared to the formal poses in the photographs of Langham school. The teachers are standing separately to the right of the picture. Compare the size of the school with that of Langham. The children probably had to walk a long way to get to school. Some of them are carrying baskets, what are these for? Does the logbook entry tell us any more about the school?
