This is a Bishop John Fisher's seal. It is decorating the drainpipes on a new building in the College. That building is called the Fisher Building.

John Fisher's seal is a fish holding and ear of corn. Together these signs make Fish-Ear which sounds like his name, Fisher. This sort of badge, which makes someones name out of pictures, is called a rebus. What pictures would be in your rebus?

John Fisher was one of Lady Margaret Beaufort's advisors (people who helped her decide what to do). He asked her to found St John's College.
