Naomi Blake
b. 1924 in Mukacevo
lives in London

Naomi Blake was deported to Auschwitz in 1944; after the liberation she spent a year in Rome before emigrating to Palestine in 1946 where she fought and was wounded, in the War of Independence. After a year in Milan she arrived in London and studied at the Hornsey School of Art, 1955 - 61. In 1979 she was elected Associate of the Royal Society of British Sculptors.
