Possibly the Red Horned Nomad Bee (Nomada ruficornis or armata). Nomad Bees look a little like wasps. There are several species of nomad bees. Some are cuckoo's and lays their eggs in the cells of other solitary bees so that the larvae eat the pollen/honey stored there. Picture taken at Old Warden Woods 29th May 2012
