A species of flowering plant in the of the family Brassicaceae (related to the cabbage), that grows wild along the coasts of Europe. It grows to about75 cm tall and is a spreading plant. It has large fleshy leaves and abundant white flowers. The seeds come one each in globular pods. It is common along the coast of England, where it is found above high tide mark on shingle beaches.
