A collection of three gardens spanning three centuries of garden history/design. The Georgian Landscape Garden was created 1750-1786 by Coplestone Warre Bampfylde. In 1992 Philip White, re-discovered the Landscape Garden, his vision of restoring the derelict garden is now being realised. The Victorian Terrace was laid out by the Viscount Portman 1873-1878. The Edwardian Formal Garden was created by Sir Edwin Lutyens. The planting scheme was designed by Gertrude Jekyll.
