Mill Street in Warwick is one of the few spots to survive Warwickâs Great Fire undamaged. In 1694 the fire caused damage to much of the area. Today, Mill Street is a residential street that retains some of the townâs medieval architecture. The houses were built mostly with timber-frames in the style of the Tudors. The Tudor period lasted from the late 1400s through the 1600s. In addition to the historically significant architecture, several of the houses lay claim to historical connections with Warwick Castle on the hill above.
