The Tate Modern was opened in May 2000 in what was the old Bankside Power Station. The vast building was remodelled by the Swiss architects, Herzog & de Meuron. The Tate Modern is the home of the Tate's collection of modern and contemporary international art from 1900 to the present. Picture taken 31st July 2007.
