St Saviour' Dock is a small dock on the south bank of the River Thames, London at one end of Butler's Wharf. It is located approximately 600 metres and forms the eastern boundary of the picturesque area known as Shad Thames. The pink building is China Wharf. Charles Dickens set part of novel Oliver Twist here when it was a notorious placee known as Jacob's Island. Bill Sikes's den was at the east end of Shad Thames adjacent to St Saviour's Dock. It is here that Sykes falls from a roof and dies in the mud.
