The Priory Church of St Bartholomew The Great is one of London's oldest churches, begun in 1123. The church stands across the street from St Bartholomew's Hospital, in the area of London known as Little Britain. It also looks out over the Smithfield area of London(originally 'Smoothfield') and across to the huge market there. The church has been used in a number of recent films. It served as the interior of Nottingham Castle in 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves' and featured in the final wedding in 'Four Weddings and A Funeral'.
