Letter from Joseph Soul to Thomas Clarkson 29 June 1844. This letter refers to a letter sent by Clarkson that has arrived safely, the content of which will have a wide circulation possibly in pamphlet form. The letter also mentions a Rev. Pennington who wishes to visit Clarkson (the Rev. Pennington is a runaway slave - not mentioned here). This letter shows Clarkson's connection with the US and the abolition movement there.
