This was a tobacconist's shop owned by Mr Norman. It has now been incorporated into the newsagent's shop on the corner. Mr Norman is seen standing in the doorway. He was the maternal grandfather of John Hubbard of Worlington whose wife Doreen was a teacher in the area for many years and at one time was Deputy Head of St Mary's Primary School in North Terrace. This picture was taken in 1903. (see information on Mr Grantham's shop)
