Writing continues from front of postcard:
...the operators think fit to dial for us. I think they drink tea or finish a row of their knitting before they deign to attend to the poor subscribers.
It is cheering news that you are to add another 20,000 words. & how thrilling that it will be published soon I hope in U.S.A.
I'll remember about black treacle Bl...(?) etc. but I hate milk and take it only in tea.
