This chair was designed in the late 1980's by Jasper Morrison demonstrating a spirit of modesty and functionalism to design, which became very influential. The chair is simple and elegant using balanced geometric and rectilinear elements with a freehand curve of the back chair legs.

The table chest dates from 1995, it has multiple uses and a flexible configuration the parts can be rearranged to fit different areas in a small home. In this clever design the draws stay level when the chest is opened out to make a table. It was designed by Tomoko Azumi. Picture taken at the Victoria and Albert Museum London.
