This television was designed in 1970 to look like a space helmet, just after the first moon landing in 1969. This model was made in 1974 and aimed at the Youth market in the UK and Europe. Made from plastic acrylic, glass and metal it was durable and came in other bright colours such as orange. It is typical of the 'pop' design of the time.
