The first abolitionist committee set up by the Quakers included 35 members including a physician, chemist, tinplate worker, printer, conveyancer, linen-bleacher, weaver, woollen draper, maltser, cutler, and surgeon.

You can see an early version of the design that eventually became the campaign logo
