Evening Dress by Charles Frederick Worth (1826-95). An outdoor garment that would have been worn over a bustled dress in the 1880's, designed by Redmayne and Co. Tea Gown about 1900 by Rouff an early designer. The gown, in silk satin, has lavish embroidery, floral patterns and a jewelled bodice, which would have sparkled under Glass or candle light. It was made in Paris.
