Cabinet painted by William Morris 1861-1862. Morris, Marshall, Faulkner and Co. produced a number of items of painted furniture in their early years of collaboration, especially for the international exhibition of 1862. The cabinet shows the legends of St George. The cabinet has painted and gilded mahogany, pine and oak with copper mounts.
